Quick note about Normal mode and HARD mode
Thank you for playing Perdition Sphere!
Something that I haven't explained quite well in the game or readme is the difference between HARD mode and Normal mode. On hard, the player starts with 8 hp, and on Normal they start with 16 hp. Both modes have 1 additional continue, so the total amount of hits you can take (unless you touch a wall) becomes 16 and 32 respectively.
If you're a seasoned bullet-hell player, I recommend you download and play the HARD mode version, and if you're new to bullet hells, there is no shame in downloading the Normal mode version. I wanted the experience to be challenging and exhilarating for as many people as possible, regardless of skill level, and to have a certain "flow" to it. Which is why I decided against changing any patterns or enemy waves depending on difficulty as it's way too difficult to find the right balance between challenge and intensity within the time constraints of a jam.
Hope you enjoy the game, and as always, every kind word and comment brings a wide grin to this weirdo's face ^^ Thank you for your support!
